As summer holidays draw to a close, all the regular dancing events are starting up again. The Thursday class at Dinder Village Hall is back on Sept 1st, and their Sunday workshop and ceili on 4th. Monday evenings dancing with the Perfect Cure start again - at The Beehive in Bristol on 5th September, and the Star in Wotton on 12th and 26th. Shoscombe classes on Tuesday 6th and 20th.

We danced a few figures at the Southmead Festival today.  We had an  audience (of more than 2!), maybe some will come along on a Sunday night! Everyone is very welcome, with or without a partner, beginner or more experienced.
We do a free taster half hour for beginners before the class, starting at 7.30 pm every Sunday - just ring Sharon on 07745 376 499 if you'd like to come for this.

As many of the regular dance events draw to a close for the summer break, I'd just like to remind you that the Sunday evening classes at Southmead Community Centre in Bristol will continue through the summer months.
Also in July, Monday evenings dancing to live music from the Perfect Cure will continue - Mon 4th July at the Beehive in Bristol, and Mons 11th and 25th July at The Star in Wotton (details under "other local groups", click on tab above).
For new or inexperienced dancers we are offering a free half hour introductory class before the start of the regular class at Southmead, from 7.30pm every Sunday. Please let Sharon know (tel 07745 376 499) if you would like to come along to this.

New class starting in Dorset!
See under "other local groups" (click on this at top of this page) for details. The new class will be run by Siobhan Jones in Stourpaine Village Hall, Havelins, every Thursday except the third Thursday of each month, and will be suitable for beginners. More experienced dancers also very welcome.

A taster session in Irish Set Dancing for Beginners.

Sharon and Mick are running a taster session at The Folk House, 40 Park Street, Bristol BS1 5JG, on Saturday 2nd July, from 1.30 - 4 pm.
The cost is £12.95/ £11.95 for over 60s/ £9.10 for those on benefits.
