Classes are suitable for beginners or more experienced dancers, and anyone can attend, with or without a partner.
Set dancing is social dancing in sets of four couples, in a square formation. It is a traditional form of dancing in Ireland, which has been revived over the last few decades and has become very popular.
The classes start at 8pm, and run until 10.30pm, all year round.
The atmosphere is informal and the main object is for everyone to have fun, dancing and socialising.
There is car parking, and a bar.
Donation of £5 to attend the Bristol Sunday evening class.
For other classes in the local area, click on "other local groups" above.
Ceilis and weekend events with workshops and dances take place all over Ireland, and most weeks you will find events in the UK too.
