For lively Irish music and social dancing, most Sunday nights at Southmead Community Centre, 248 Greystoke Avenue, Southmead, Bristol BS10 6BQ, from 8 pm. (6 times a year, no class because we are running workshop/ ceili in Wotton under Edge on 2nd Sunday of month. Occasionally other Sundays may be cancelled - ring Sharon on 07745 376 499 to check)

How to learn Irish Set dancing?

Join a local beginners' class, such as those run by Jill Elliot in Portishead and Falfield (click on "other local groups" above), or come along to a regular class in Southmead, Dinder or Newton Abbot where experienced dancers will give lots of support too.

Christmas 2018 dates

Southmead, Bristol: 
Christmas ceili on Friday 21st December, from 8 pm, with the Perfect Cure.
No Sunday evening class on 23rd December but we are back on 30th December.

Beehive, Bristol:
Next dance on Monday January 14th. This will be the last one for a while.

Dinder:
last Dec date Christmas party on 6th December.
Back on Sunday 6th January for the Sunday workshop and ceili, then Thursday 10th January for the weekly evening class.

Falfield, Glos:
Ceili on Monday 10th December, then 28th January.
Beginners' class starts on Monday 21st January.

Wotton under Edge:
Next Sunday workshop and ceili is on 13th January.

Newton Abbot:
No class on 26th December, but back on 2nd January.

Colyford:
Next Sunday afternoon ceili will be on January 20th.

Come to our Halloween Set Dance Ceili!
Saturday 27th October, at Southmead Community Centre, Bristol.
Bar open from 7.30 pm. £7 on the door. Please bring food to share, and there will be a raffle in aid of Parkinson's UK.
