Thanks to Val, Graham and Ann, and the Perfect Cure, for a great ceili in Shoscombe last night. There were quite a few beginners there, but it all flowed really well and we had a wonderful time.

Bristol Irish Set Dancing Club is moving!

From Sunday 21st December the class will meet at Southmead Community Centre, Greystoke Avenue, Southmead, Bristol BS10 6BQ, every Sunday at the earlier time of 8 pm.

The Christmas ceili on Sunday 14th December (from 7.30 pm) will be the last time we meet at St Bonaventure's Parish Hall.

The new hall is very good, with a nice floor, a bar, and a car park. It is also accessible by bus - number 2 from Temple Meads via Henleaze, or number 76 from Hengrove via the centre and Gloucester Road.

To celebrate the move, the first class at the new venue, on 21st December, will be free!

Autumn Ceili at St Bon's

Last night's ceili was great fun, with excellent music from the Polka Pests (who will also be playing for our Christmas ceili on December 14th), lovely dancing and scrumptious food.

Thanks to all who came along and helped to make it go with a swing.

The raffle, in aid of Parkinson's UK, included as prizes wine, chocolates and a voucher for the pub/ restaurant The Gloucester Old Spot on Kellaway Avenue. Ticket sales made £88.
